CLLR GIDLEY'S OTHER ROLE

Apart from being a TVBC councillor for Abbey ward, Sandra Gidley is also President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. This body which represents pharmacists across England, Scotland and Wales. These people are vital frontline workers in this current crisis.

Sky News interviewed RPS President Sandra Gidley as part of a package on the role of frontline pharmacists dealing with the covid-19 crisis.

Sandra told Sky News that it had been "a real struggle" for pharmacies to cope with these new demands and urged patients to understand that pharmacists and their teams are doing their best to get the medicines they need.
