PRESS RELEASE - From Leader of Liberal Democrat Group at Test Valley Borough Council

Test Valley Council has been working non stop to set up the emergency arrangements in response to Coronavirus and the Liberal Democrat councillors want to thank the officers for their dedication and tireless work.

Liberal Democrat councillors are supporting their communities. Working with the Test Valley Resilience team, disseminating essential information down through the community and promoting key contact numbers - for all types of support.

We are responding daily to emails/phone calls and reassuring the public. As community leaders we have been identifying our vulnerable residents and signposting volunteers to appropriate groups.

And identifying and arranging long term storage venues for food to deliver to vulnerable residents.

We will do everything we can, work as a team to supporting our communities through this national crisis
