The Tories first hundred days

16 Sep 2015

It's now just over 100 days since the Conservatives formed a Government without the Liberal Democrats. What have the Tories done in these 100 days:-

  • 3 million of the poorest families are to be worse off by at least £1400 a year.
  • Promise to cap social care costs for the elderly, POSTPONED until 2020.
  • Royal Bank of Scotland shares SOLD at a huge loss, costing us billions
  • Support for poorest students abolished.
  • Tories promise not to touch Child tax credit has been abandoned.
  • Promise of a northern power house rail link - shelved.
  • Benefits for 1000's of sick & disabled people - slashed.
  • NHS problems hidden by banging on about Doctors working weekends which they already do.
  • Clamping down on Union funding, whilst refusing to regulate other political party donors.

The Tories in their manifesto promised to keep free school meals introduced by Nick Clegg. But they are now to be scrapped to save £600m

A shameful record and a promise of more to come.
