Thousands march against Brexit

Yesterday tens of thousands of people marched in opposition to Brexit. The largest march was in London where NW Hants Lib Dem chairman Len Gates joined a Liberal Democrat contingent led by party president Sal Brinton and Catherine Bearder MEP marching from Hyde Park to a rally in Parliament Square.

The marches were covered by a number of newspapers including the Guardian and the Independent. Unfortunately some of the press chose just to report a silly attempt by one masked Brexiteer to steal Eddie Izzard's beret.

The rally included a number of speeches by leading pro-EU campaigners including Catherine Bearder MEP, Mike Galsworthy of Scientists for Europe and Owen Jones of the Guardian. Follow the links to listen to the speeches.
