A road filled with potholes.

End the Pothole Crisis in Hampshire

For too long, Hampshire County Council has neglected the roads in our towns and villages. Under the Conservative-led administration, potholes are left unrepaired for months, creating dangerous conditions for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians alike. When repairs are finally carried out, the work is often substandard with potholes breaking apart within weeks and wasting even more public money.
As Liberal Democrats, we strongly object to the ongoing mismanagement of road maintenance across Hampshire. While we are continuing to report every pothole we see to ensure urgent repairs are made, patching up the problem is not a long-term solution.
We are calling on Hampshire County Council to treat the state of our roads as the emergency it clearly is and to take immediate, decisive action.
Please join us in signing this petition and send a clear message: Hampshire residents deserve safe, reliable roads — and it’s time for the Council to finally get a grip on this growing crisis.

Time to End the Pothole Crisis in Hampshire

We the Liberal Democrats call on Hampshire County Council to take immediate action to address the state of our roads.
